Jason is the Reinsurance Practice Leader for One80 Intermediaries. One80’s Reinsurance practice lies with an executive team that has started, owned and run multiple reinsurance platforms over the last 25 years. One80 acquired Waypoint in late October 2024 to ensure we can be a meaningful partner to our cedents. Jason has been active in the Insurance and Reinsurance business for 27 years.

Jason most recently served as the Head of the Americas for Life, Accident & Health Insurance / Reinsurance and Head of Workers Compensation Reinsurance for XL Catlin. In this role, Jason was a member of the Americas Specialty Insurance Executive Committee, the U.S. Reinsurance Executive Underwriting Committee and the Catlin Underwriting Inc. Board of Directors. Prior to joining Wellington / Catlin in 2003, Jason was Founding Principal and Senior Vice President of Underwriting at Reinsurance Management Group. He began his reinsurance career in 1994 at Duncanson & Holt Group, underwriting Accident & Health and Workers Comp Reinsurance in San Francisco, CA.
