Today C&M First, a division of One80 Intermediaries, announced the appointment of Andi Yao, Business Development Manager, Asian American Distribution Practice. In this newly created role, Mr. Yao will identify and foster relationships with retail brokers representing Asian-owned businesses throughout the United States. He will be based in our San Francisco office and will report directly to me.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Yao served as Vice President, Business Development for Risk Strategies. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with key positions at USI, Fisher Investments, Citigroup and more. Mr. Yao earned his MBA from Boston University, completed his undergraduate studies at Peking University in Beijing, China, and Binghamton University in New York. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.

One80 launched its Asian American distribution strategy in 2022 with the acquisition of C&M First; one of the largest Asian owned insurance agencies in the United States. Established in 1989, the firm provides innovative insurance solutions that are designed for clients with diverse backgrounds and unique requirements. The C&M team is multi-cultured and multi-lingual, ensuring brokers receive tailored solutions and market leading customer service.
