Rapidly growing One80 Intermediaries establishes new cargo and physical damage facility
BOSTON, Mass. — April 1, 2020 — One80 Intermediaries (One80), a national wholesale insurance broker and program manager headquartered in Boston, today announced that it has established new cargo and physical damage facilities providing additional in-house binding authority.
Led by industry veteran Christopher Daggett based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, these new programs will further expand the market access, expertise and product offerings that One80 provides to its transportation brokers. Senior Underwriter, Shelby Taylor will work closely with Mr. Daggett providing market leading solutions to brokers across the country.
“At One80 Intermediaries we have a well-established transportation practice that offers wholesale brokerage and in-house binding authority to the many classes of business throughout the transportation industry,” said Matthew F. Power, President of One80 Intermediaries. “Establishing new cargo and physical damage facilities will further strengthen our value proposition by providing additional binding authority through key markets in the US and UK.”
One80’s Physical Damage Program is designed to cover trucks, trailers and their equipment; while the Cargo Program provides insurance on the freight or commodity hauled by for-hire truckers.
One80 can quote, bind and issue physical damage policies in-house with one of London’s most well respected and capitalized markets – and are approved in all 48 continental United States. Separately our Cargo Program offers coverage on admitted paper. In both cases our in house binding authority allows us to offer market leading service throughout the policy life cycle.
