BOSTON, MA — July 19, 2022 — One80 Intermediaries (One80), a specialty insurance broker headquartered in Boston, today announced the acquisition of National Insurance Agency of Simpsonville, a Kentucky based insurance broker that provides life and occupational disability insurance to professional associations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
For over 60 years, National Insurance Agency of Simpsonville (NIA) has provided unique life and disability insurance products to thousands of attorneys, certified public accountants, dentists and physicians throughout the state of Kentucky as well as Arkansas. NIA offers insurance solutions that are not available through the standard market, addressing disability income concerns, participation limits, underwriting restrictions, and post-term life insurance renewals.
The affinity space continues to see accelerated activity throughout the United States, and with that, One80 identified the opportunity to leverage its leading operational structure and technology platform to effectively service this market segment. The acquisition of National Insurance Agency of Simpsonville is One80’s third acquisition in this space, establishing One80 as a dominant affinity business service provider in the United States
